Upload Your Prescription or Medical Document

Securely send us your prescription via the File Transfer App inside our doxy.me room by Clicking button👇.

How it works: Step-by-step

1
Click “Join Secure Session👆”. You’ll be taken to our doxy.me room in a new tab. If prompted, allow access to your microphone and camera so we can start the session. (You do not need a camera to upload a document, but the system may ask for it.)
2
Enter the waiting room or connect. Wait for the clinician to accept you, or follow the on-screen prompt if the session is already live.
3
Locate the File Transfer / Upload icon inside the doxy.me interface. This usually appears as a paperclip, file, or "Upload" button in the session toolbar or chat area.
Tip: If you don’t see it immediately, look for a sidebar toggle or “More” menu.
4
Select or drag-and-drop your prescription or document. Accepted formats typically include PDF, JPG, PNG, or similar. Wait until the progress indicator shows completion.
5
Confirm with the provider that the file arrived. You can send a quick chat message like: “I just uploaded my prescription” or ask verbally if you’re on audio/video.
Need help? If you're stuck at any point, try:
  • Refreshing the browser tab and rejoining the session.
  • Compressing large image files (keep under ~10MB if possible).
  • Using a desktop/laptop if mobile gives issues—modern Chrome, Firefox, or Safari work best.
Alternative: If you cannot upload inside doxy.me, you can take a clear photo or scan and email it to Rx_Rubys@Outlook.com (replace with your actual fallback contact) or follow any alternate secure link you were given.

Before You Start

Prepare your document:

Take a clear photo or scan of your prescription. Make sure all text is readable, no glare, and the entire sheet is visible.

Check file type & size:

Preferred: PDF, JPG, PNG. Keep file size reasonable (<10MB) to avoid upload hiccups.

Stable internet:

A wi-fi or strong mobile data connection reduces upload failures. If it fails, retry after a few seconds.

Privacy & Security

All files uploaded through doxy.me’s File Transfer are transmitted over encrypted channels. We do not store your document outside the secure session unless explicitly discussed. If you have concerns, mention them when you join.

Need More Help?

Technical Support

If the upload fails repeatedly:

  • Try a different browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended).
  • Clear your cache or open the session in a private/incognito window.
  • Restart device and rejoin.
Session Help

During the session, you can ask the provider to guide you live—just say “I need help uploading my document.” They can prompt the file transfer UI or suggest an alternate.

If you’re using a smartphone, rotating to landscape may show more of the interface clearly.
